The wine is lithe and agile with fine tannins and incredible persistence, finishing with distinctive salinity.     Very intense and fruity, with an impression of red fruits that protrude from the glass. Cherries, raspberries and red plums stand out. It is of medium volume, with a great sensation of freshness. The red fruit stands out in the dimensions seen on the nose. The tannin is lively but very fine. It has a lot of persistence and leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness and fruit.

    Very expressive, with the marked typicality of the RODA style. Ripe red fruit, along the lines of cherries. The nose is very pleasant, comfortable and very clean. There are some black notes and nuances of spices. The fruit stands out overall, resting on a limestone mineral base. When tasting it, flashes of freshness jump out. It is of medium volume, but with a very good presence in the mouth. Very tasty, with a very pleasant fruity sensation, combining sweetness and highlighting freshness, the cherry leading the whole. The tannin is very fine, still somewhat present.

The nose delivers notes of red fruit, in particular black cherries, light hints of flowers and sweet impressions of powdered sugar. The vertical palate is taut, pleasantly mouthfilling with supple tannins and closes with a lengthy, sapid, and full finish.

This is a wine for easy drinking whilst having classic Pinot Noir flavours, the tannins are soft and well rounded. This wine is suitable for mild flavoured foods or drinking by itself. Aged in French Oak barrels for 18 months.

    Waxy honeydew and citrus on the nose, with light florals and a slightly autolytic/bready quality. Impeccably balanced on the palate, showing Takahiro Koyama’s influence from his time working in the Mosel in Germany, with a precisely-judged acid line cutting through the white-fleshed fruit character. A delicate, subtly off-dry expression with length and depth. Good drinking now, and will cellar well for 5 years. From vines planted in 2004 on gravelley and sandy soil. After being carefully hand harvested from a Gravel Soil vineyard in Waipara Valley, grapes were gently pressed and slowly fermented at low temperature to preserve the sweet, distinctive, precious aroma of Riesling.

    Super fragrant “Old Spice” perfume with nutmeg, star anise, orange, pimento, jasmine, vanilla, musk and cedar. With old cellar charm this vintage is more woodsy, wild mushroom and dark berry fruit than ocean scents. So powerful and fluid riding into buoyant fruit sweetness with a savoury overtone. Flowing into a very fine tight tannin profile which is powdery and dry but not intense. Rich fruit power, but not heavy.
