From the most prestigious wines on the planet to the wallet-friendliest of table wines, we have it all at Moore Wilson's. Bargain international varietals from producers such as Trapiche rub shoulders with the legendary Penfolds marques, and we are confident there's a red for everyone here. And of course, we have a huge selection of New Zealand wines - and not just Pinot Noir! There's Syrah from Gimblett Gravels, Merlot from Hawkes Bay, and plenty of offerings from our local Martinborough wineries. Naturally, our range of French reds is extensive - and there's always plenty of Australian wine on offer. Though if there's something you're looking for and can't find, get in touch and we will see what we can do.

  1. Blackberry, brambly, fresh, supple. Inspired by CFW (compulsory family walks) in the Tararua Ranges - the steep, tricky, hauntingly beautiful mountains that run the length of Wairarapa. This is a wine full of the tastes and smells of the forest.
    $29.95 Bottle
  2. Bin 28 offers a showcase of warm climate Australian shiraz – ripe, robust and generously flavoured. First made in 1959, Bin 28 was original named after the famous Barossa Valley Kalimna vineyard purchased by Penfolds in 1945 and from which the wine was originally sourced. Today, Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend, with the Barossa Valley always well represented.
    $44.95 Bottle
  3. Delicate and pretty character, showcasing notes of red cherries, violets, and a touch of white pepper. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity create a smooth and elegant mouthfeel.
    $17.95 Bottle
  4. Spicy, rich, dark, and preeeety easy to drink. Just how we like our new world wines to behave. Great value.
    $18.95 Each
  5. One of our most popular French reds year after year. A blend of Syrah and Grenache. Medium to full bodied, firm yet silky tannins and flavours of red fruit, leather and subtle spices.
    $29.95 Each
  6. Fine Syrah predominant Cotes Du Rhone from the team at Chateau Beaucastel. Silky tannins and medium bodied with soft spice and dark fruit flavours.

  7. Deep concentrated, intense Syrah with immense structure and presence. Dark brooding, lightly spiced, berry fruits and a firm, fulsome palate.
    $59.95 Each
  8. Using a 1890’s Robinson Basket Press to slowly squeezes the remaining juice from the grapes, before the individual components are left to mature in seasoned oak casks. When the final blend comes together, layers of soft, savoury, spicy flavours are emerging and will continue to develop with a handful more years in bottle.
    $48.95 Bottle
  9. A complex savoury nose with fruit characters of blueberry and cranberry. Notes of wet earth, butchers block and floral spice give additional interest to the aromatic profile.
    $19.95 Bottle
  10. Strong ruby red hue with a beautiful shine. Very fine on the nose with superb black fruit and spicy notes. Delightful and intense on the palate, with lovely balance and great elegance, from the moment it was bottled.
    $59.95 Bottle
  11. An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, mocha, vanilla and savoury notes combine with hints of cedar and sweet spices. Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spices and lovely, silky tannins. A full-bodied, textural wine, showing great complexity with hints of cedar and allspice flowing through to the lengthy, brambly fruit finish.
    $134.95 Each
  12. Perfectly ripe black plum and forest berry compote, with hints of pepper, spice, and a touch of sweet-cured meat on the nose. The palate is coiled and purposeful on entry and feels like it wants to explode. With a satin flow, a bright core of berry fruits and hints of spicy oak, this a very moreish wine.
    $22.95 Each
