From the most prestigious wines on the planet to the wallet-friendliest of table wines, we have it all at Moore Wilson's. Bargain international varietals from producers such as Trapiche rub shoulders with the legendary Penfolds marques, and we are confident there's a red for everyone here. And of course, we have a huge selection of New Zealand wines - and not just Pinot Noir! There's Syrah from Gimblett Gravels, Merlot from Hawkes Bay, and plenty of offerings from our local Martinborough wineries. Naturally, our range of French reds is extensive - and there's always plenty of Australian wine on offer. Though if there's something you're looking for and can't find, get in touch and we will see what we can do.

  1. Pronounced intense primary raspberry, cherry and prune varietal fruit characters with complex, earthy notes of spice and leather. Full-bodied with fine, soft tannins and well-balanced acidity. Soft raspberry and wild berry fruits give way to a long, smooth, spicy finish.
    $19.95 Bottle
  2. Telmo Rodriguez Dehasa Gago Toro
    $27.95 Each
  3. On the nose, we find ripe berries with balsamic aromas and Mediterranean notes like lavender. A mineral background as well. On the palate, we can taste red and blackberries as well as fig notes. Hints of oak on a fresh mineral background. A rounded up wine with soft tannins. Certified Organic
    $33.95 Bottle
  4. Acústic is an old vines blend of Carignan and Garnatxa from the Montsant region in Spain. This is a somewhat Rhone-like wine with red fruit flavours complemented by balanced spice and herbal notes.
    $42.95 Bottle
  5. Fantastic wine—speaks of its origins, and so generous in style. Creamy and spicy, combining berries, spicy oak and earthy tannins. Superb food wine.
    $34.95 Bottle
  6. Rich, opulent dark fruits, silky and mouth-filling, complemented with a touch of baking spices. Sourced from very old vines across La Rioja's many varied zones.
    $16.95 Bottle
  7. Very expressive, with the marked typicality of the RODA style. Ripe red fruit, along the lines of cherries. The nose is very pleasant, comfortable and very clean. There are some black notes and nuances of spices. The fruit stands out overall, resting on a limestone mineral base. When tasting it, flashes of freshness jump out. It is of medium volume, but with a very good presence in the mouth. Very tasty, with a very pleasant fruity sensation, combining sweetness and highlighting freshness, the cherry leading the whole. The tannin is very fine, still somewhat present.
    $84.95 Each
  8. Minimum ageing in barrel and in bottle is required to gain Crianza classification - resulting in a timelessly mellow and relaxed wine of autumnal red fruit, and sweetly smokey oak.
    $19.95 Bottle
  9. Arriba is to Tempranillo what our biggest selling Spanish wine 'Rojo' is to Garnacha. A juicy, fun expression with enough grunt to please the purists. Perfect table wine for BBQs
    $14.95 Each
  10. Bursting with red and black berries. Succulent, smooth and satisfying. Organic and sustainably- farmed Garnacha from the hills of Castilla.
    $15.95 Bottle
  11. Modern expression of a classic blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano. Bags of juicy red and black fruits, framed with velvety tannins, and just a light kiss of oak.
    $21.95 Bottle
  12. Pure and precise aromas of cherries, red berries and thyme. Medium bodied, with good length and weight on the palate, showing beautiful balance between the fresh acidity, fruit concentration and firm but fine-grained tannins.
    $22.95 Bottle
