Porter is the oldest commercially brewed style and London Porter was Emerson’s first beer. Dark, dry and mellow with some hoppy characteristics, pours a deep brown colour with reddish tints. The aroma is toasty, with a hint of sweetness and some earthy hop notes. There are some black notes and nuances of spices. The fruit stands out overall, resting on a limestone mineral base. When tasting it, flashes of freshness jump out. It is of medium volume, but with a very good presence in the mouth. Very tasty, with a very pleasant fruity sensation, combining sweetness and highlighting freshness, the cherry leading the whole.
