Finding a nice little Chard like this - for this money is a rare thing. Intense stone fruit aromas of peach and nectarine with subtle smokey notes. Creamy fruit sweetness provides a supple texture leading into a generously flavoured finish with a touch of spicy oak.$11.95 Bottle -
Pale lemon straw with faint green hue. Complex and refreshing aromatics of melon rind, sea spray, honeysuckle and a hint of beeswax. Very precise across the palate with ripe citrus and subtle oak highlights and a long, texturally dry and almost saline-like finish.$29.95 Bottle -
The wine is fragrant and flinty with a hint of pink grapefruit. The palate is supple but with a limestone edge that is piercing and lingering.
