  1. Over at Bach we've been on the hops again... saluting our Stone Age ancestors. It seems that beer has been a social refreshment since the dawn of civilisation c. 13,000 years ago. And thankfully hops were used from the Middle Ages. Our latest Hazy IPA is loaded with Nectaron, Motueka, Citra and Mosaic hops.

  4. Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It’s matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt.
    $41.95 Dozen
  5. Pale Ales are known for being aromatic with a balance of a lighter body with some maltiness and mellow bitterness. Taking the concept from the Hazy IPAs we triple dryhopped our Sippin' on Sunshine to bring out the juiciness while having a lighter body and pleasant crisp finish. Mosaic and Sultana hops contribute to tropical notes while NZ Southern Cross creates a refreshing lemon flavor!

  7. Super Alpha is a hoppy refreshing pacific pale ale that uses the crisp tartness of wheat malt and a blast of fruity New Zealand hops to create a crisp refreshing beer. Initially designed by Head Brewer Kieran Haslett-Moore to wash the taste of sea water from his mouth after hauling in his crab pot, Super Alpha takes it’s name from an unusual variety of New Zealand hop that gives the beer its trademark lemon grass character. The ultimate end to a summer’s day.

  8. They say its wings bring thunder and its eyes flash lightening, but the Thunderbird's intensity is benevolent, its appearance a good omen. This bright IPA borrows its name to give a fresh retelling to a familiar story by keeping things lean, lucid and enlivening. Its dazzling tropical character comes thanks to a hop from North America, where these tales were first told.
    $41.95 Each
  9. Cassels NZ APA

    330ml 6 pack

This delightfully fruity, aromatic beer gets its lead from the abundance of USA hops. A top fermented ale style, the tropical fruit salad and passionfruit flavours give way to a soft clean bitter finish. A very well balanced beer. Awarded the title, World’s Best Pale – American style Pale Ale at the 2021 World Beer Awards.
    $20.95 6 Pack

  11. XPA means Extra Pale, a product of Quickchange's lighter malt base. That delicate colour though is undercut by a glorious hit of alpha oils from Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra hops. Sometimes you don't want your mouth flayed raw and your liver worked to a standstill. Sometimes a few luscious notes of mango, guava, lychee and pineapple can be just the thing.
