Tasty Christmas pudding is not too heavy, not too light. Dried fruit macerated in brandy, with citrus flavours added to provide contrast. When heated the outside of the pudding goes ever so slightly toffeeish. Serve warm with lashings of whipped cream. Custard and/or ice cream are wonderful accompaniments.
