Lifted aromas of vanilla bean, ripe peach and spicy oak. There are nuances of toasty hazelnut and ripe citrus rind. The palate has a flavoursome entry with generous mid-palate texture showing the stone fruit and citrus flavours promised on the nose. The wine is fragrant and flinty with a hint of pink grapefruit. The palate is supple but with a limestone edge that is piercing and lingering.
