Very expressive, with the marked typicality of the RODA style. Ripe red fruit, along the lines of cherries. The nose is very pleasant, comfortable and very clean. There are some black notes and nuances of spices. The fruit stands out overall, resting on a limestone mineral base. When tasting it, flashes of freshness jump out. It is of medium volume, but with a very good presence in the mouth. Very tasty, with a very pleasant fruity sensation, combining sweetness and highlighting freshness, the cherry leading the whole. The tannin is very fine, still somewhat present.

This Shiraz which comes from the Paisley estate vineyard, is deep red with purple hues. The nose has wonderful lift of raspberry fruits, floral notes, choc mint and a herbal, menthol note. The medium to full bodied palate has juicy red fruits, blackcurrant, earthy, savoury notes and black olives. The oak has introduced a cedary, roasted meat character. Soft silky tannins define the mid palate and complement the vibrant and juicy fruit. It finishes long with berry fruit, fine tannins and cedary oak. Drink young while it is vibrant and fresh but will age in the medium term for up to ten years.

These wines began their life as Manzanillas and then the flor was allowed to die away so they continued their maturation with exposure to the air in the barrel. Therefore the wine has a deep topaz colour with roasted almond character yet retains the characteristic tangy flavour of Manzanilla. This wine has been slightly sweetened with Pedro Ximenez to give it a raisined edge. This wine has a beautiful amber colour, a rich hazelnut nose and hints of flor ageing.
