  6. The raptor family includes a surprisingly diverse collection of birds of prey and their kin, and stretches to include some of their fiercer ancestors from the land before time. Pale ale can feel like a similarly broad category, but this one is very much of the more assertive kind. Deep gold with piercing piney bitterness and citrus hop flavours, it’s a throwback to the relatively recent past.

  10. Pete + the brew team have been trying to create a 0% beer for a long time - years. Along the way, they accidentally stumbled onto a way to make hard seltzer, now known as Dirty Water, when they were trialing an osmosis process. Tiny is fermented using a quasi-yeast that produces no alcohol as a by-product, like normal yeast would. In order to be classified as 0%, you need to be under 0.5% abv in reality - it's tight!
    $19.95 Pack
  11. Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.
    $21.95 6 Pack
  12. If the sky is clear and cool, and you’re very lucky, you might witness a sundog: apparitions that accompany the true sun, an atmospheric trick of light and ice. Our own Sundog, a pilsner starring the vivid passionfruit and white wine notes of New Zealand hops, is much easier to find, but just as crisp and bright.
