Q: What is moorewilsons.online?
Growing from the success of Moore Wilson’s Wine Direct, our new online store offers nationwide delivery of a hand-picked range from our shelves – and now includes the Variety Department.
We have kept our promise of everyday low prices and brought it into the online world. A number of wine, beer and spirits store customers have made the most of our Moore Wilson’s Wine Direct service, and now it’s expanded to include a much larger selection of homeware gifts from our Variety Department.
Our online shop is a new store, distinct from our stores at Tory Street, Porirua, Masterton and Lower Hutt. Orders placed through our online store are sent to a special dispatch centre, where they are picked, packed and collected by the couriers for delivery nationwide.
We’re constantly adding new products to the online store, and we’re always open to new product requests and suggestions. If you’re in one of our Wellington region stores and see something you’d like to buy online, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.
All prices on our website include GST, and are the same retail price you’ll find in store. As Moore Wilson’s is primarily a cash-and-carry business, Gold Membership Rewards and Trade Accounts are in-store only, and cannot be used for online purchases. Q: I’ve seen a product in store but can’t find it on your website. How can I order it?
If there's something you are after that isn't yet available here on our website, contact us and we'll see what we can do. If it’s something we have in stock and can send by courier, we will do our very best to make it available on our website.
Q: Why is there a minimum order quantity for some products?
Some of our products – such as beer and grocery items – can be bought individually in store, but we can only courier them in set quantities (such as boxes, cases or cartons). It is often quite a lot cheaper to buy in these quantities, which is why we show both the individual and bulk prices on the product pages. It’s always nice to know what you’re saving!
Q: When will my order arrive?
Once payment is received, your orders will usually be with you in 2 working days for North Island addresses, and 3 working days for South Island addresses, however we are currently experiancing delays of upto 5 working days on some deliveries. Rural addresses can take an extra 2 - 3 business days, depending on your local driver's route and schedule. You can track your order once it has been collected by our couriers – an email with the tracking reference will be sent to you automatically. Please note that the dispatch warehouse is closed on weekends and public holidays.
