Bliss, a state of complete happiness and harmony. You can find it in the most familiar of things. Sun, freshly cut grass, the smell of a BBQ - in the right combination even the simplest elements can elevate an experience to another level.
Don’t be deceived, sometimes things are not what they seem. The modest strength on the can belies the flavour within. A complex selection of malts and generous dose of Sauvin and Simcoe hops create a light but satisfying beer that punches well above its weight. A true sheep in wolf’s clothing.
Hapi, the Maori word for hop, inspires this truly Pacific pale ale. Brewed with New Zealand barley and the best of the Kiwi hop harvest, Motueka, Wai-iti, Riwaka and Nelson Sauvin. Assertively Hoppy - exceptionally drinkable.
Pils 'n' Thrills is the Garage's irreverent take on the classic Bohemian Pilsner. German malts combined with American Summit hops create a refreshingly crisp, golden beer with a snappy bitterness and lifter lemon citrus notes.
Embrace the Garagista spirit - ignore convention, experiment, test the limits, and look at things a little differently. Brewed and double dry hopped with New Zealand, Australian and US hops, resulting in tropical, resin and pine flavours. Great things can come from the garage.
An aggressive, tropical New Zealand-hopped aroma gives way to a rich, copper coloured malt base and a huge, lingering bitterness to finish. In an ode to its ancestors, they have used all English malts in the grist and a bold English bittering hop in the boil.
Today we welcome a new beer to our core range; an APA named Falcon.
Our interpretation of the style takes modern U.S. hop flavours of citrus and tropical fruit and lets them soar on a light and nimble body.
Rochdale Classic Apple Cider is a sparkling straw colour, with crisp acidity balanced by the sweetness of tree-ripened apples. Full bodied on the palate, it has a smooth finish with notes of buttery vanilla.
Reining in our IPA to make it a bit more friendly and approachable. It is much the same as their most popular beer but with more malt sweetness and slightly less bitterness. This is a seriously tasty brew and very well balanced.
Moore Wilson’s began life in Wellington as a general wholesale merchant.
From the day the doors opened, it’s been a family business, managed day-to-day by the Moore family.
You will find the family has a very hands-on approach, and this is reflected in the friendly personality and character of the stores.
