'Spirits' (AKA 'hard liquor') is the term for all distilled alcohol - in fact, the name 'spirit' came from alchemists who believed the vapor of distillation was a 'spirit' of the original material. Technically 'spirits' and 'liqueurs' are different - spirits have no added sugar, while liqueurs do - but they tend to be lumped together. Virtually all known spirits were used as health tonics or elixirs at some point in history, but transmuted into good fun drinks over time. Many countries have their 'national' drink - gin, whisky, schnapps, grappa, ouzo, soju, vodka, rakia/rakija...there's quite a list. Experiments began with sugars and flavours - resulting in limoncello, cynar, Benedictine...that's an even longer list.
  1. A caramel-coloured, orange flavoured bitters which traditionally accompanies beer in the east and north of France.
    $45.95 Each
  2. This famous Orange liqueur is produced according to a secret recipe that has remained unchanged for 150 years. Unlike most other triple sec liqueurs, Cointreau is full spirit-strength. Your Cosmopolitan wouldn't be the same without it!
    $63.95 Each
  3. A delicate and satisfying bouquet of sweet caramel flavors with maple and honey top notes, layered with the essence of fresh cut mesquite wood. The finish is long on the palette with hints of roasted nuts and vanilla.

  4. Master Distiller Alan Winchester marries together a selection of the aged oak casks and American first-fill oak casks. American first-fill oak casks are those that have never before been used to mature whisky. Selective use of these casks provides a smooth, creamy sweetness that mingles harmoniously with the delicate flavours and complex fruity tones already present in the whisky.
    $76.95 Each

    $32.95 Each
  7. The original recipe meets the piercing taste of Calabrian chili pepper. Vecchio Amaro del Capo Red Hot Edition embodies the very essence of Calabria, its homeland. Exciting, energetic - and above all, spicy.
