'Spirits' (AKA 'hard liquor') is the term for all distilled alcohol - in fact, the name 'spirit' came from alchemists who believed the vapor of distillation was a 'spirit' of the original material. Technically 'spirits' and 'liqueurs' are different - spirits have no added sugar, while liqueurs do - but they tend to be lumped together. Virtually all known spirits were used as health tonics or elixirs at some point in history, but transmuted into good fun drinks over time. Many countries have their 'national' drink - gin, whisky, schnapps, grappa, ouzo, soju, vodka, rakia/rakija...there's quite a list. Experiments began with sugars and flavours - resulting in limoncello, cynar, Benedictine...that's an even longer list.
  1. Rye like no other. Smooth, sweet. Like when someone else makes you pancakes in the morning. Fluffy. Caramel. Mouth Hug. Friendly drinking just like a Canadian.
    $96.95 Each
  2. A passionate take on the essence of Romeo. This barrel aged gin has been down 12 months in a chardonnay barrel taking on Vanilla tones to compliment the orange base that holds it up. A tragedy that it is a limited release. Amazing addition to any cocktail for that oaky, barrel edge.
    $84.95 Each
  3. A classic co-lab from back in our early days that lives as Negroni Gin is relaunched as the heartbreaker Romeo. Lovestruck and impulsive, this gin is a blend of strong citrus tones and a underlying layer of bitterness and smoke. Built for cocktails, this gin lends a smooth tone to the bitterness of Negronis and a smooth citrus finish to other classics.
    $79.95 Each
