'Spirits' (AKA 'hard liquor') is the term for all distilled alcohol - in fact, the name 'spirit' came from alchemists who believed the vapor of distillation was a 'spirit' of the original material. Technically 'spirits' and 'liqueurs' are different - spirits have no added sugar, while liqueurs do - but they tend to be lumped together. Virtually all known spirits were used as health tonics or elixirs at some point in history, but transmuted into good fun drinks over time. Many countries have their 'national' drink - gin, whisky, schnapps, grappa, ouzo, soju, vodka, rakia/rakija...there's quite a list. Experiments began with sugars and flavours - resulting in limoncello, cynar, Benedictine...that's an even longer list.
  1. Vibrant green in colour. Sourz Apple is sure to catch your attention. The sweet apple flavour is balanced by a zingy sour finish. A clean and crisp serve.
    $32.95 Bottle
  2. Dictador 12 Years Rum is made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey distilled partly in copper alembic and partly in steel continuous column, to achieve a medium body rum. Aged in pre-used oak barrels and finally bottled under the highest quality control to ensure all the secrets are contained in the liquid flavour.
    $93.95 Bottle
  3. From a selection of more than 30 herbs and spices such as star anise, juniper, musk yarrow, ginger, lavender and last but not least, the delicate and smooth flavour of vanilla - with a process of seven infusions and six distillations.
    $50.95 Bottle
  4. Dark and delicious. STOLEN Dark reimagines the classic, traditionally heavy, naval style dark rums, with a more modern and smoother interpretation. It’s blended by hand and uses Demerara caramel for a full bodied look and flavor, lightly toasted sweet caramel aromas and a soft honeyed texture in the mouth.
    $57.95 Bottle
  5. The Original Reposado. Tequila Herradura introduced the world to Reposado in 1974 and has been setting the standard ever since. Aged 9 months longer than industry standards, Reposado has a rich amber color with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter. This additional time spent resting in charred American White Oak barrels creates a smooth, sweet finish with a slight taste of spice.
    $104.95 Bottle
  6. METAXA 7 Stars has a mature fruit character revealing intense notes of noble muscat nourished by the sun of the Aegean islands.
