From the most prestigious wines on the planet to the wallet-friendliest of table wines, we have it all at Moore Wilson's. Bargain international varietals from producers such as Trapiche rub shoulders with the legendary Penfolds marques, and we are confident there's a red for everyone here. And of course, we have a huge selection of New Zealand wines - and not just Pinot Noir! There's Syrah from Gimblett Gravels, Merlot from Hawkes Bay, and plenty of offerings from our local Martinborough wineries. Naturally, our range of French reds is extensive - and there's always plenty of Australian wine on offer. Though if there's something you're looking for and can't find, get in touch and we will see what we can do.

  1. Made for more youthful drinking than the long-lived Chateau Musar. Still powerful, with rich berry fruit, violets, this intensely fruity wine has silky tannins and a hint of spice at the finish.
    $39.95 Bottle
  2. Dense black fruit together with hints of pepper and sweet spice. The wine has rich black fruit flavours, chocolate and spicy notes, alongside rich black fruit flavours. It has a smooth finish and well integrated tannins. Produced organically.
    $31.95 Bottle
  3. Pretty average looking wine from a fairly obscure producer. However; this shiraz is one of the best balanced, drinkable and enjoyable little drops we've tried from Australia all year.
    $13.95 Bottle
  4. Aromas of cherry, plum, cranberry, pomegranate and smoke. Flavours of plum, black cherry and red fruit compote. Rich and fleshy in the mouth with soft tannins and persistent flavour. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food.
    $18.86 Bottle
  5. Dark cherry, plum, spice and a hint of tobacco blend together creating a well-rounded Pinot Noir. Ample fruit is balanced by an elegant tannin structure that lingers nicely.
    $19.95 Bottle
  6. Powerful and complete. Layers of dark Central Otago berry fruits, hints of violet, clove and cinnamon aromas are locked into this wine which screams of promise. The mouthfeel is instantly generous with the depth and breadth of flavour quite astounding.
    $43.95 Bottle
  7. Such amazing value for money.. Made by the experienced team at Giesen, this is classic Merlot with plenty of berry fruit and smooth mouthfeel.
    $11.95 Bottle
  8. One of the most important native vines in Apulia and greatly appreciated for its strong, concentrated grapes, meaning its quality and longevity are more than comparable with the great reds of Piedmont, Veneto and Tuscany.
    $25.95 Bottle
  9. Intense aromas of blackcurrant and cherry along with smoke and tobacco notes. Aged in both old and new French oak barriques for 16 months, the wine is full bodied with rich and elegant textures. Produced organically.
    $29.95 Bottle
  10. The royal house of Marques de Riscal produces precision wines with a dusty, silky edge. Deliciously drinkable on its own but hold out for a good cut of beef if you can.
    $49.95 Bottle
  11. This complex blend showcases a great vintage on their Havelock North vineyard. Dark and brooding on the nose with black doris plum, aromatic jasmine and underlying mineral notes of graphite and tar. The palate is broad and soft with supple front palate tannins and soft vanilla oak enveloping the fruit.
    $21.95 Bottle
  12. Satisfyingly plump on the palate with a veritable mosh pit of brambley, berried fruit vying for its place on the peak of a broad and interesting summit of flavour. Jolly good stuff.
    $17.95 Bottle
