New Zealand is most famous on the world wine stage for Sauvignon Blanc, and with good reason. But here at Moore Wilson's we hunt out the best of all the white varieties from local producers, and spice it up with some international contenders from excellent wineries. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris (AKA Pinot Grigio) are the ubiquitous names, but there's plenty more out there: semillon (seh-mi-yohn), viognier, riesling, gewurztraminer...

  2. Rose gold with copper hues. The nose shows baked pear, citrus, peach and a hint of caramel. The palate is dry with sweet peach, nashi pear, spice, ginger, lemon curd, quince and brioche. Full bodied and complex, rich and concentrated with fine textural tannin and a long toffee, mineral finish.

  4. The wine has vibrant notes of lychee, ginger and pear characters on the nose. Fresh apple characters fill the front palate and finishes with some sweet floral characters to balance. The palate has a unique freshness that is due to the free draining soils found at the growing site. Excellent wine that is full of punch and finishes off dry.
