New Zealand is most famous on the world wine stage for Sauvignon Blanc, and with good reason. But here at Moore Wilson's we hunt out the best of all the white varieties from local producers, and spice it up with some international contenders from excellent wineries. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris (AKA Pinot Grigio) are the ubiquitous names, but there's plenty more out there: semillon (seh-mi-yohn), viognier, riesling, gewurztraminer...

  1. This vibrant and lively wine greets the palate with ripe camomile and nettle flowers, complemented by citrus notes. Its light straw color with subtle green highlights hints at the freshness within. The ripe fruit is beautifully balanced by steely mineral acidity, creating a lengthy and refreshing finish.

  6. Dense, ripe notes of pear and quince combine beautifully with aromas of spice and ginger. The palate is lush, rich and textural, which has been aided by partial barrel fermentation in French oak barrels. A dry wine that finishes with vibrant acidity.
