New Zealand is most famous on the world wine stage for Sauvignon Blanc, and with good reason. But here at Moore Wilson's we hunt out the best of all the white varieties from local producers, and spice it up with some international contenders from excellent wineries. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris (AKA Pinot Grigio) are the ubiquitous names, but there's plenty more out there: semillon (seh-mi-yohn), viognier, riesling, gewurztraminer...

  1. Medium-dry riesling with lime, white flowers and a suggestion of oyster shell. There’s a perfect blend of sweetness with fruity acidity which gives the wine tension.
    $27.95 Each
  2. Floral and citrus aromas, flavours of kaffir limes and grapefruit, some initial sweetness underpinned by herbal mineral characters and ending dry with refreshing acidity.
    $36.95 Each
  3. Handcrafted crisp and vibrant dry-style Riesling harvested from the Puketapu block. Lively and fruit-forward, with great cellaring potential.
    $24.95 Bottle
  4. A brightly aromatic lemon-lime-mandarin citrus medley with notes of red delicious apple, honeydew melon and a tarragon-like herbal edge. A lively off-dry style that delivers a ying-yang balance of bright, natural acidity and a subliminal touch of sweetness – finishing with a delicious quinine-like citrus tang.
    $30.95 Each
  5. This fragrant wine is perfect for those seeking a fleshy, succulent mid-palate that finishes with dry crisp acidity, leaving your taste buds craving more. Whether you’re enjoying it on your own or sharing it with friends, Lawson’s Dry Hills Ranu is the perfect choice for any occasion.
    $29.95 Each
  6. This medium-dry Riesling has a delicious mouthfeel and nicely coats the mouth without being cloying. Aromas of ripe citrus and sherbet are mixed with savoury almond notes.
    $21.95 Bottle
  7. This wine boasts a honey-hued color and aromas of nectarines, baked spices, and tangelo skin. It offers concentrated flavors with refined, long tannins—fruity yet profound, reminiscent of Golden Queen peaches.
    $36.95 Bottle
  8. A ripe and spicy nose of cardamom, candied apricot and peach. A very rich and unique wine thanks to the climate.
    $18.95 Each
  9. Domaine Rewa Late Harvest Riesling
    $27.95 Each
  10. This alcohol-removed Riesling features notes of lime, citrus blossom and elderflower on the nose. The palate offers lively and refreshing Riesling characters, with zingy lime, ripe mandarin and delicious sweetness, all balanced by a refreshing crispness.
    $16.95 Bottle
  11. Very intense, lively aromas of orange blossom, lime and crisp green apple, with jasmine floral notes. Beautifully structured wine, with great balance and acidity. Citrus fruits continue through the palate, with a hint of oyster shell, and a beautiful textured and lingering finish. While drinking superbly on release, this wine will continue to improve and evolve for years to come.
    $37.95 Bottle
  12. Pale green gold with silver streaks. Delicate notes of apple blossom, nectarine, honeysuckle, lime zest - with mineral undertones. On the palate -intense lime, zesty mandarin and ripe red apple. Bright acidity brings freshness and balances with generous fruit sweetness. These two aspects are accentuated by the natural spritz retained from fermentation which provides lift in the mid-palate. Th reprise is long and lingering with a satisfyingly crisp clensing texture.
    $34.95 Each
