There are hundreds of wines to choose from in the Moore Wilson’s range, and we go all the way up to some of the world’s rarest and finest examples - perfect gifts for your wine-buff friends, or take advantage of our everyday low prices to stock up your cellar. We have carefully a selected a few of these vinous treasures for the online store, and we’ll be adding more soon, so do check back, or visit us in store for a wider selection.

 

And of course, Wellington is New Zealand's craft beer capital, so we have a great selection from locals including Garage Project, PanheadTuatara, ParrotDog, and Emersons. We also stock a wide range of classics and international beers, including low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer like Clausthaler and Moretti Zero.

 

New Zealand is developing a great reputation for spirits - Scapegrace and Lighthouse make very fine gin, and we have some up and coming vodka and whiskey producers too, including the very exciting Thomson Manuka Smoked Whisky.   1. Made with 100% malted Finnish rye, Kyrö Malt is a whisky that proudly breaks the mould. It is double pot distilled and aged in a combination of new American oak and ex-bourbon casks, resulting in intense pepperiness, balanced with sweet notes of caramel and vanilla.

  3. Kyrö Malt Oloroso is the first Finnish single batch rye whisky, made from 100% malted Finnish wholegrain rye. It is double pot-distilled and aged in three barrel types: Oloroso sherry, new American oak & ex-bourbon. Mellow yet spicy, nose of nuts and caramel.

  4. Origines Italicae, Latin for Italian Origins, puts together some of the most exciting grape varieties and wine regions of Italy. The Piccini family shares its long-standing winemaking knowledge crafting a range of wines that expresses the rich diversity of Italian wine grapes.

  8. Intense brown colour with reddish hues. Exuberant nose, with aromas of red fruit intertwined with notes of wood and subtle hints of spice. In the mouth, it is rich and balanced, with round tannins combined with the silkiness of fruit, giving the wine the unique trait of a Kopke Colheita. A long and delicate finish.

  9. An intense aroma of ripe Satsuma plum, mocha, vanilla and savoury notes combine with hints of cedar and sweet spices. Rich, sweet fruit is balanced wonderfully with briary and sweet spices and lovely, silky tannins. A full-bodied, textural wine, showing great complexity with hints of cedar and allspice flowing through to the lengthy, brambly fruit finish.

  11. The Glenturret 10 Years Old Peat Smoked celebrates the varying sources of peat now procured for our smoky whiskies. The smoke flavours are constantly evolving and changing through time. Our peated spirit style is matured in both first-fill and second-fill European and American oak casks. The resulting whisky forms a complex single malt that commands a higher strength of 48.4% ABV.
