Moore Wilson’s is passionate about championing our home-grown produce and that extends to wine, beer, cider and spirits. We stock hundreds of wines from all over New Zealand, but if your palate also enjoys international journeys, we have a wide range of red and white wines from France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and the USA.

There are hundreds of wines to choose from in the Moore Wilson’s range, and we go all the way up to some of the world’s rarest and finest examples - perfect gifts for your wine-buff friends, or take advantage of our everyday low prices to stock up your cellar. We have carefully a selected a few of these vinous treasures for the online store, and we’ll be adding more soon, so do check back, or visit us in store for a wider selection.

And of course, Wellington is New Zealand's craft beer capital, so we have a great selection from locals including Garage Project, Panhead, Tuatara, ParrotDog, and Emersons. We also stock a wide range of classics and international beers, including low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer like Clausthaler and Moretti Zero.

New Zealand is developing a great reputation for spirits - Scapegrace and Lighthouse make very fine gin, and we have some up and coming vodka and whiskey producers too, including the very exciting Thomson Manuka Smoked Whisky. Man O War Island Blend Red

The Island Blend is brooding on the nose with blackberry, bramble, black tea and a touch of Provence herbs. The palate is medium bodied with red berry fruits, a touch of black olive and graphite on the finish with a light hint of oak and pepper spice on the finish. The Island Blend is a well structured wine and a wine to enjoy fresh in its youth as well as a wine worth ageing.

Nautilus Methode Vintage Rose

2019

Nautilus Vintage Rosé 2018 is pale salmon in colour with a fine creamy mousse. The nose shows red berry fruit notes, rose petal aromas and a hint of spice. 100% Pinot Noir gives this wine depth and weight balanced by a touch of brioche and a creamy texture from extended lees maturation. This sparkling wine is finely balanced on the palate with an elegant harmonious finish.
