Moore Wilson’s is passionate about championing our home-grown produce and that extends to wine, beer, cider and spirits. We stock hundreds of wines from all over New Zealand, but if your palate also enjoys international journeys, we have a wide range of red and white wines from France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and the USA.

There are hundreds of wines to choose from in the Moore Wilson’s range, and we go all the way up to some of the world’s rarest and finest examples - perfect gifts for your wine-buff friends, or take advantage of our everyday low prices to stock up your cellar. We have carefully a selected a few of these vinous treasures for the online store, and we’ll be adding more soon, so do check back, or visit us in store for a wider selection.

And of course, Wellington is New Zealand's craft beer capital, so we have a great selection from locals including Garage Project, Panhead, Tuatara, ParrotDog, and Emersons. We also stock a wide range of classics and international beers, including low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer like Clausthaler and Moretti Zero.

New Zealand is developing a great reputation for spirits - Scapegrace and Lighthouse make very fine gin, and we have some up and coming vodka and whiskey producers too, including the very exciting Thomson Manuka Smoked Whisky. 2020

Very intense and fruity, with an impression of red fruits that protrude from the glass. Cherries, raspberries and red plums stand out. It is of medium volume, with a great sensation of freshness. The red fruit stands out in the dimensions seen on the nose. The tannin is lively but very fine. It has a lot of persistence and leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness and fruit.

Roda Sela Rioja Reserva

2022

Very expressive, with the marked typicality of the RODA style. Ripe red fruit, along the lines of cherries. The nose is very pleasant, comfortable and very clean. There are some black notes and nuances of spices. The fruit stands out overall, resting on a limestone mineral base. When tasting it, flashes of freshness jump out. It is of medium volume, but with a very good presence in the mouth. Very tasty, with a very pleasant fruity sensation, combining sweetness and highlighting freshness, the cherry leading the whole. The tannin is very fine, still somewhat present.
