Moore Wilson’s is passionate about championing our home-grown produce and that extends to wine, beer, cider and spirits. We stock hundreds of wines from all over New Zealand, but if your palate also enjoys international journeys, we have a wide range of red and white wines from France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and the USA

There are hundreds of wines to choose from in the Moore Wilson’s range, and we go all the way up to some of the world’s rarest and finest examples - perfect gifts for your wine-buff friends, or take advantage of our everyday low prices to stock up your cellar. We have carefully a selected a few of these vinous treasures for the online store, and we’ll be adding more soon, so do check back, or visit us in store for a wider selection.

And of course, Wellington is New Zealand's craft beer capital, so we have a great selection from locals including Garage Project, PanheadTuatara, ParrotDog, and Emersons. We also stock a wide range of classics and international beers, including low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer like Clausthaler and Moretti Zero.

New Zealand is developing a great reputation for spirits - Rogue Society and Lighthouse make very fine gin, and we have some up and coming vodka and whiskey producers too, including the very exciting Thomson Manuka Smoked Whisky. If you can’t find what you’re looking for online yet, check with one of the stores.

  1. Our feathered friends see the world differently. Through birds’ eyes, things might look almost psychedelic to us, with heightened colours and fresh hues forming a surprising new spectrum. This hazy, citrus and stonefruit accented IPA with a mellow, soft and silky texture gives a similarly refreshing change of perspective.
  2. Liberty Halo Pilsner

    330ml 6 Pack

Speaking of shiny objects, this all-kiwi Pilsner, packing Nelson hops and a Gladfield malt base, radiates star power from the first pour. Pilsner obsessives can look forward to the heavenly glow of zesty lime citrus and tropical passionfruit balanced on rye-cracker malts with a hint of caramel sweetness.
    $20.95 Bottle
  3. Sawmill IPA

    330ml 4 Pack

Pale golden colour with a foamy white head. Light biscuity malt notes carry the hops. A mix of American Citra and NZ Cascade hops give the beer a bright and vibrant citrus burst. Crisp and drinkable. Lower in alcohol than most IPAs.
    $16.95 Pack
  4. Sawmill Pilsner

    330ml 4 Pack

Biscuity pilsner malt and distinctive Motueka and Riwaka hops bringing aromas of lemon and lime. Nelson Sauvin for a tart gooseberry hit. Straw coloured appearance, brilliantly clear, with a long lasting white head. Crisp and bitter. Medium dry finish.
    $15.95 Pack
  5. Here’s proof that keeping things real shouldn’t entail dumbing it down. Oh Brother is Liberty’s idea of what a street-smart pale ale should be. The coolly modulated US hop character of mangoes and passionfruit fused with biscuity malts makes it oh so easy to have one more. And maybe one after that.
    $20.95 6 Pack
  6. Zesty Strawberry-Lime cider was the first to explore this exciting flavour combination. Made from the purest Swedish spring water, enjoy served over ice with fresh mint leaves or real strawberries and a wedge of lime for a fresh, zesty experience.
    $4.95 Bottle
  7. This carefully cellared reserve wine is only released a minimum of five years after harvest. It represents a tiny selection from thier Home Vineyard, grown and made to showcase our unique site with the benefit of time.
    $119.95 Bottle
  8. Our troublesome original release, named for the problematic first brew day which hugely emphasised its hop bitterness. It’s matured and evolved nicely over the years, with us. Big tropical hop flavour from local varieties with strong bitterness from an English hop to honour its origins, all balanced by plenty of malt.
    $37.95 Dozen
  9. Parrotdog Falcon APA

    330ml 12 pack

Falcons stalk the skies, commanding their territory with focus and intensity; a totem for this American Pale Ale. Our interpretation of the style takes modern U.S. hop flavours of citrus and tropical fruit and lets them soar on a light and nimble body.
  10. South Cider Mixed Up Six - 2 x Boysenberry, 2 x Crisp Apple & 2 x Feijoa 330ml cans.
  11. For those alarmed by vulgar, sweet concoctions, South presents a dry cider of brilliant clarity brewed from heritage Cox’s Orange apples. Beautifully balanced with a fine acidity, South Cider glows in the glass while supplying the other senses with the perfect level of clean, crisp, refreshment.
  12. The most important thing in making The CHOYA is to use higher quality plums. Choya has been working with ume farmers to create good soil, and has been pursuing plums suitable for plum wine. The CHOYA uses 100% of Kishu-produced Nanko ume, and carefully selects and uses ume with a high ripeness and rich fragrance.
