Moore Wilson’s is passionate about championing our home-grown produce and that extends to wine, beer, cider and spirits. We stock hundreds of wines from all over New Zealand, but if your palate also enjoys international journeys, we have a wide range of red and white wines from France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Argentina, South Africa and the USA.

There are hundreds of wines to choose from in the Moore Wilson’s range, and we go all the way up to some of the world’s rarest and finest examples - perfect gifts for your wine-buff friends, or take advantage of our everyday low prices to stock up your cellar. We have carefully a selected a few of these vinous treasures for the online store, and we’ll be adding more soon, so do check back, or visit us in store for a wider selection.

And of course, Wellington is New Zealand's craft beer capital, so we have a great selection from locals including Garage Project, Panhead, Tuatara, ParrotDog, and Emersons. We also stock a wide range of classics and international beers, including low-alcohol and non-alcoholic beer like Clausthaler and Moretti Zero.

New Zealand is developing a great reputation for spirits - Scapegrace and Lighthouse make very fine gin, and we have some up and coming vodka and whiskey producers too, including the very exciting Thomson Manuka Smoked Whisky. Fantastic bouquet of fresh baked goods and ripe pears, there’s a delicious spice and apple fragrance, quince and a touch of fresh grapefruit marmalade and ginger. On the palate - crisp, crunchy, fresh, fruity salivating and dry. Textures from the lees and unfined technique layer in mouthfeel and character. Balanced, well made and delicious.

Felton Road MacMuir Pinot Noir

Dark fruit and cocoa lead this saturating and brooding bouquet. The palate is similarly intense, a different iteration of Felton Road, but it nevertheless has the openness and immediate silky appeal. Sandalwood, dark chocolate and cranberry lingers on a sustained and immensely impressive finish. Certainly no stage fright in this new performer!

Hera Chardonnay is a limited edition, barrel selection from our favoured French barrel Coopers. The handpicked grapes are sourced from low yielding, dry farmed, old vine Mendoza Chardonnay. The wine is barrel fermented in tight grained French oak by wild yeast and completes a 100% malolactic fermentation.
