It's World Cocktail Day - 15th May! The top five cocktails are Martini's, Mojito's, Margarita's, Old Fashioned and Negroni. To celebrate World Cocktail Day find your favourite classic recipe below.
Martini:
75ml London Dry Gin (or Vodka)
15ml Dry Vermouth
15ml Olive Brine
Stir with ice
Strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with a cocktail stick of green olivesMojito
- 50ml Bacardi White Rum
- mint leaves
- 25ml fresh lime juice
- 30ml simple syrup
- soda water, to top
Method
Muddle 6 mint leaves in the shaker, then pour in the rum, lime juice and simple syrup, along with plenty of ice. Shake until cold, then strain into a glass filled with ice and mint leaves and top with soda water.
Margarita
45ml of el Jimador
20ml of Cointreau
30ml of Lime Juice
10ml of Sugar Syrup
Add all your ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, Pour & Enjoy!Rum Old Fashioned:
50ML Black Tears Spiced Rum
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
5ml Brown Sugar Syrup
Stir & Strain Pour over ice Garnish with Orange sliceNegroni
30ml Gin
30ml Rubis Sweet Vermouth
30ml L'Opera Aperitif
Stir
Add ice
Garnish with Orange Peel
