Recipe shared by Whitestone Cheese
for Moore Wilson's 2022 Calendar
1 cup grated Whitestone Airedale Cheese
1 can of reduced cream (240g)
1 sachet Maggie Onion Soup Mix (30g)
1 loaf of fresh sandwich slice white bread
Salted butter to garnish
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Combine cheese, reduced cream and onion soup mix together in a mixing bowl and spread approximately 1 1/2 tbsp over each bread slice.
Form each slice of bread in to a roll and use a rolling pin to gently seal.
Spread butter over top surface.
Place in oven for 5 - 7 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from oven and spread generously with salted butter.
Serve and enjoy hot.
